A Norman Castle in the heart of South Dublin
Drimnagh Castle is a restored Norman Castle in the heart of South Dublin. It is the only moated castle remaining in Ireland and was once the seat of the de Bernival family who were granted lands in Drimnagh and Terenure in 1215. The castle is primarily a heritage site and the castle and gardens can be visited by guided tour. The castle can also be hired for events, private functions and as a film location.

Tours can be booked by contacting the office on 01 - 4502530 from 9:30 - 4pm (Monday - Thursday) and from 9:30 - 1pm (Friday)
PLEASE NOTE the castle will be closed to the public on Friday the 5th of August and Monday the 8th of August
